Registration and weigh ins will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center.

Friday, August 15

     -     Registration/Weigh in for Saturday’s events from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 16

     -      7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Junior weigh in for declared point weight divisions (pre-reg only).

     -      7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Junior Novice registration and walk up.

     -      10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Seniors and Masters walk up registration and weigh in.

 

SPECIAL WEIGH IN AT TOURNAMENT SITE

     -      Competitor may weigh in the morning of their event provide they are pre-registered and make their stated weight as noted on their registration form.

     -      If the competitor does not make weight, they are out of that particular division they pre-registered for. We will have the brackets prepared by that point in time for the tournament and cannot change the bracket posting in order to accommodate a missed weight.

     -      Coaches, make sure your players make their pre-registered weight if planning to weigh in at the tournament site the morning of their event.

Shreya Ghoshal is an Indian playback singer who mainly sings in Hindi and Bengali films as well as in other Indian languages such as Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil. She has received numerous awards and nominations, including four National Film Awards for best playback singer, three State Film Awards, five Filmfare Awards (four for best playback singer), and seven Filmfare Awards South. She has established herself as a leading female playback singer in Indian cinema. Ghoshal’s career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest. Her Bollywood playback singing career began with “Devdas,” for which she received a National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. Since then she has received many other awards. Ghoshal was also honored by the state of Ohio, where Governor Ted Strickland declared June 26 as “Shreya Ghoshal Day.” She also was featured in Forbes’ list of the top 100 celebrities of India. She was declared the most popular artist on Saavn (an Indian music streaming service) in 2013, followed by Arijit Singh, A.R. Rahman Atif Aslam and Mohit Chauhan.
